Hi
Anyone know of an i2c controlled switch IC that is at least 2 independent channels switching into at least 3 outputs? The switches need to be serial data friendly (so low resistance etc).
Ideally, it would be 3 or 4 pole into 3 outputs min, but that might be pushing it.
I have been searching for hours on Mouser, Farnell, Digikey etc. Found loads of switches that switch the actual i2c bus, but none that are switches controlled by i2c.
I want to select one of 3 serial ports, so I need to route the TX and RX.
Done it before using a 74HC4051, but they are not i2c address controlled and I have no pins for address control (but I do have an i2c bus)
I could control the address pins of the 74HC4052 (2 pole, 4 way) with an MCP23017 multiplexer, but then we are starting to get a little complicated with multiple chips and a lot of redundancy.
Thanks
