Hi,
I have an 18V brushless DC motor for which I ordered a ZS-X11H motor controller. The motor is reclaimed from a robot lawn mower, and I do not know what the 8-wire pinout is. The mower PCB ICs have been black-topped and sealed in clear resin, so no clues there.
Careful examination of the cables reveals that three of the eight wires are 20AWG, with the remaining five being 22AWG. I am assuming that the red and black wires are +5V and ground, leaving three 20AWG wires for the motor phases and the rest for the Hall sensors. Yes, it is a big assumption, but that is all I have right now.
Given this wafer-thin (suspect) information, how would you suggest I ascertain the correct phase and Hall sensor order please?
TIA
