Arduino powerline communication conflict

Dear all,
some 2 years ago you gave some good input in the communication with the KQ330(KQ130) unit.
Background: I need to communicate with 2 arduinos over an air-distance between 10m and 50 m in a a larger complex building. WiFi, BT and any other datacom is not possible (too much steel and concrete), I'm not allowed to place extra cables. The only thing I can use is a 230V cable between the heating switch in the apartment and the hotwater tank with a heating element on the roof.
I developed a system with 2 arduionos and 2 KQ330 modules and it is working fine since 2 years. THe data I transfer between both units are some 9 digit numbers via the serial commands. My soluition now runs since 2 years without any problems.

Now my neithbour wanted to have the same solution and after I tried to install this 2nd pair, I discovered that now both pairs are goint to interfer each other. My hope was, that the electric meter has enough isolation capabilities, but this seems not the case.

My first idea was, to provide each pair with an individual ID-code as a prefix to the number I transfer. But when I read with Pair 1 the number which is supposed to go to Pair2 the buffer from the KQ330 is empty.
I also thought about powerline adapters, but they are too big to be packed in a small touch display housing for wall mounting.
I'm really stuck here and I have no clue, how to solve this situation. Perhaps you have some enlighting ideas, how to solve this situation.
Many Thanks
